The NHS is the biggest employer in Europe and the fifth biggest in the world, just behind McDonalds. This means it is also Europe’s biggest employer of woke equality, diversity & inclusivity (EDI) officers, positions and trainings. 10,000 EDI roles in the NHS are costing the UK taxpayer £550 million a year and 1 million lost working days. To put this into context, this money could fund 12,500 extra nurses.
