Carole Sherwood (DClinPsy) is a retired UK-based clinical psychologist, co-director at Critical Therapy Antidote and contributing author to the book, Cynical Therapies. Carole was part of the panel discussion at the Battle of Ideas Festival in London discussing the rapid radicalisation and politicisation of psychotherapy. She discusses what this anti-therapeutic style of therapy involves and compares this to psychotherapy with a truly healing ethos.

Carole drew on the findings of her recent independent inquiry (co-authored with Dr. Kirsty Miller) to substantiate the claim that Critical Social Justice has been widely imported into UK clinical psychology training courses.
