A 2-hour interactive training on Friday, October 24 on clinical neutrality as a steadying, relational presence—free from ideology or agenda.

In the first hour, you’ll explore the therapeutic roots of neutraliy, its evolution through modern approaches, and the cultural forces that have eroded its place in practice. We’ll examine how neutrality, like a “second therapist in the room,” creates reflective space, safeguards client autonomy, and fosters psychological depth, even in moments of cultural or ideological tension.

In the second hour, you’ll move from theory to practice through targeted role plays and group debriefs, testing your capacity to stay grounded when confronted with charged statements or identity-related concerns. You’ll leave with practical tools to hold open, non-reactive space in a polarized climate preserving both your ethical compass and your client’s freedom to think and feel for themselves.
