Highly contested issues related to gender ideology are currently working their way up to the highest courts in the land for resolution and adjudication. Recently, we have had the ruling of the U.K. Supreme Court that the rights and protections under the Equality Law are firmly and correctly based on biological sex. Now, a case on conversion therapy is brought by a therapist to the U.S. Supreme Court who is challenging a 2019 Colorado law which bans conversion therapy.

The judgement reached in this case will have profound ramifications for the therapy professions. As Lisa Selin Davis notes in her piece for The Free Press: “Activists have worked hard to make sure that traditional talk therapy is continually recast as conversion therapy, akin to electric shock.”

Selin Davis’s piece is here on Free Press (but behind a paywall). Below is a short clip from the Megyn Kelly podcast discussing this issue.
